Rain Garden | Creating Small Walls with Living Retaining Wall Blocks

EnviroWall Living Wall Blocks were used to create a raised flowerbed within a rain garden at a church in Annapolis. They were needing to disconnect downspouts for stormwater regulations and because of their terrain and lack of space and equipment access, created a challenge for creating the rain garden that they were planning for. The use of EnviroWall blocks to create a small wall was the only way to do the job and the same plants for the rain garden worked for the wall facings and were native habitat and greenspace with native perennials. The side rails were clicked into each block in order to be filled with loose growing media to support the native vegetation.

250 Blocks were used to construct 250 square feet of wall within the rain garden.
